Dear AZ Delegates to the CBC, I am writing to express my enthusiasm and gratitude for

the opportunity to collaborate with The Leadership Consortium in the capacity of delegation leadership. My extensive tenure of over 14 years, dedicated to championing Amex Leadership behaviors and mentoring emerging business leaders, aligns seamlessly with the mission of The Leadership Consortium.

The journey toward this collaboration began when I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Michael Kelly at a community event focused on supporting student mentoring and achievement. It was during this event that Michael approached me with a straightforward yet pivotal question: “Can you help me improve the coordination and communication of the upcoming Congressional Black Caucus?” Without hesitation, my response was a resounding yes.

Drawing upon my experience of visiting the CBC, I recognized the potential of utilizing my international and multi-lingual navigator skills to enhance the coordination of this significant conference.

Throughout my professional career, I have been instrumental in creating self-organizing systems of leaders within team environments, fostering a culture that values diversity and strives to build an equitable and inclusive atmosphere. This skill set aligns seamlessly with the mission and goals of the CBC.

The prospect of collaborating with Michael Kelly, driven by a mutual admiration for his non-profit work and accomplishments, instilled confidence in our ability to enhance timely communication and subsequently increase participation in the CBC.

Michael and I eagerly anticipate any feedback you may provide regarding how we can further improve this initiative. We are committed to contributing our expertise to ensure the success of the Congressional Black Caucus and uphold the values of The Leadership Consortium.

He played a pivotal role in navigating the industry’s transition from traditional print to digital platforms, implementing profitable business models domestically and internationally. Additionally, he served as the on-camera host for corporate training and development initiatives, with his change models adopted in-dustry-wide.

Robert’s speaking engagements have spanned across the U.S. and Europe, including recent appearances in Greece, Spain, and Holland, as well as being featuring on the Business Channel on Tour in Istanbul, Turkey. He is also scheduled as a keynote speaker at the Arizona Society of Human Resource State conference, where he’ll emphasize building inspirational communities through diversity.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Robert’s dedication extends to community service, serving on five boards and offering support to charitable organizations. His internet presence continues to flourish, reflecting his commitment to fostering positive relationships. An accomplished jazz pianist, Robert’s mission of touching lives “one person at a time”.
